An unrelenting passion for cinema and the coalescence of different media, inevitably leading me to the path where I spent years as a freelance one man band filmmaker. I slowly gathered a modest gear inventory to shoot and edit videos for small musical artists and brands, while making significantly more personal and expressive shorts with friends in my free time. During which, I established a foundation of collaborative spirit, camera fundamentals, and post processes and software, with a particular fondness for DaVinci Resolve and the coloring. Entering the film industry soon after a locked down world slowly and cautiously began reopening. Navigating from PA to Digital Utility to DIT throughout 2021, I have since established a career as a DIT, in a variety of projects and formats, from commercials, to music videos, to fashion campaigns, to feature films. As DIT, I oversee media management, exposure management, image quality assurance, coloring (LUT building, live grade, post color grading), transcodes, camera to cloud (C2C), streaming, and general camera department assistance and troubleshooting. Along the way, expanding into Stills Digitech, Phantom tech/operator, and occasional Colorist (Post-Production), though I feel most alive on set in Production. My journey continues…
